Rachel Torowski-Newbould

Rachel Torowski is a local dance artist in Cleveland, she holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Dance and Community from Cleveland State University where she studied under, Lynn Deering, Bryant Henderson, Kathy Diehl and Tyler Ring.

During her time at Cleveland State she received multiple opportunities to perform at The Allen Theater Mainstage and KeyBank State Theater in Playhouse Square in the CSU Dance Concerts and The Dance Showcase. She has also been continuing her studies at The Dancing Wheels Dance Company with an emphasis on ballet and modern dance techniques.

Rachel has collaborated and performed with local dance companies including, Expedition Dance, Levity Dance and Physical Theater and Terre Dance Collective, where she has had the opportunity to perform in many settings including, The Cleveland Dance Fest, Station Hope, and Parade the Circle. Outside of Cleveland she has been a guest artist for New Vision’s Dance Company as well as performing at TheaterLAB in Richmond, Virginia.
