ArtWorks Challenge

CAL's 15-Day Online Arts Program

To support families and schools across NEO, our CAL team has created the #ArtWorksChallenge. This 15-day online arts challenge gives kids the opportunity to get creative and have some fun while they're at home, while also supporting teachers and families in a remote learning structure.

Daily Challenges

Congratulations on accepting CAL's 15-Day ArtWorks Challenge! Each day, we challenge you to be any type of artist you want, so the daily projects provide options and prompts that encourage you to:

Draw It + Make It + Write It + Speak It + Dance It + Snap It + Sing It + Share It

Use the following links to find complete instructions for that day's art activities, plus an example video of how to complete the challenge:

This challenge encourages you repurpose items and give them new life...including music! Take a song that was released before 2010 and fit a current dance to it. You can learn a popular dance in this video and match it to a song that is around 100 beats per minute. Get creative and show us your best moves!

Day 6: Culinary Arts

It's day 14 of Ohio's Stay at Home order, and we’re in the mood for something sweet! Here are two quick easy dessert ideas that you can make in under 3 minutes using a microwave! Make It, Snap It, and Share It!

Day 7: Math

Posted
: Tuesday, April 7, 2020

This challenge will help you learn math in creative ways. Create dream-catchers or mandalas with geometry. Count out the beats to create a unique dance of your own. Then Snap It and Share It!
