This program tells a story of musical invention and teaches students how to create music under any circumstances. Hal demonstrates instruments that can fit in your pocket like the ocarina of South America and the banakulas of West Africa and introduces students to innovative ways of making music. Participants leave with pocketfuls of musical potential and handfuls of creative possibility.
WHAT THEY’RE SAYING
We really enjoyed Hal Walker’s assembly! The teachers agreed that it was informative and fun for all of our students, and he kept the students engaged and entertained. They especially liked the jaw harp and learning how to make music without instruments.
