The teacher will choose a topic from science, history or social emotional curriculum. From chosen topic, students will generate a list of words and illustrate a representational image. The image is created by the words which form lines, shapes, its related colors and textures to provide the meaning of the curricular topic. Examples of topics include the water or hydrologic cycle, erosion, inventors, forms of government, ancient cultures, bullying, testing, and more. Topic must be discussed with Ms. Mahon prior to artist visit to classroom.
