MorrisonDance

MorrisonDance

MorrisonDance is directed by Sarah Morrison, who is a choreographer, performer, educator and behavioral researcher. A recipient of the 2009 Ohio Arts Council Fellowship, Morrison has guided this unique company of professional dancers to explore cross-disciplinary approaches to creation and education, and to discover new creative marriages with other artistic media, science, nature, and technology. MorrisonDance was the world’s first company to use the internet for a live broadcast of a dance concert in 1997, and continuously seeks out innovative connections between dance and other disciplines through collaborations with NASA, BrainMaster, and individual artists and scientists throughout the US. The partnership with CAL aligns with MorrisonDance’s mission by developing and providing innovative educational opportunities to all youth.
