Alicia Hrubey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Mount Union in 2010 and a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 2012. Upon obtaining her national board certification in music therapy through Baldwin Wallace University, she has specialized in utilizing music therapy with individuals living with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities.
Alicia has worked extensively in bringing music to the classrooms of both traditional and special needs students. Her programs focus on using music to help teach and generalize a variety of educational content standards.
In addition to her work with the Center for Arts-Inspired Learning, Alicia owns a private music therapy practice and sings professionally in Greater Cleveland.
