Wendy Mahon

Wendy Mahon, Visual Artist, grew up in Trinidad, immigrating to the U.S. to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida. She has created murals, batiks, costumes, chalk drawings and paintings for Cleveland Museum of Art, Playhouse Square, Progressive Arts Alliance, Cleveland Play House, Art House, Kulture Kids, Hiram College and more.

Internationally and nationally, Mahon has brought her unique art forms to festivals in India; Trinidad; Tobago; Helena, Montana, San Diego, California; and New York City to name a few. With a certificate in Creative Arts, Wendy provides art therapy to patients at MetroHealth Hospital. Sharing her talents, she has integrated visual art projects into the curriculum in schools across Northeast Ohio.

Her public art projects can be seen at MetroHealth Medical Center, Boys Hope Girls Hope, Cleveland School of the Arts, Citizens Academy and more.
