Self Portrait & Digital Collage
During Self Portrait & Digital Collage, students explore contemporary artist's work and style, familiarizing themselves with standard approaches to communicating themes through imagery and representative elements in a work of art. (Standards 7.3CR/HSP 3CR). Through this observation and experimentation with shape, color, composition, and style, students use responsibly sourced
imagery blended with their own photography. Utilizing self-awareness and 7.2PE/HSP.2PE to make a self-portrait image that will be the focal point of their collage, along with other photos they may choose to take to fully communicate their theme.
