Black History Portrait Program
The Black History Portrait Project is a drawing program in which portrait artist Kahzar Rublon works with students to teach them realistic drawing skills while learning about notable historical and contemporary African-American subjects. This program pairs well during Black History Month and/or for research projects in varying subject areas as scholars will be led to research and write key facts about their subjects.
This portrait program can be customized to explore the fields of history, arts, politics, sports, music/entertainment and more and can and can also be customized for other areas of study such as Women's History, Ohio History etc.
