Poetry & Creative Writing
Interactive Poetry classes & workshops led by Kahzar Rublon where participants are led on a journey of self-reflection through the lens of poetry and creative writing. Students will be led to analyze, interpret and respond to a series of texts to produce their own poems & stories. Cultivating self and social awareness, self-management and relationship skills– participants are able to utilize poetry as a tool of self-reflection, self-expression and social emotional learning.
Writing workshops can lead up to slams and final showcases and can be offered as Integrative Arts projects– combining visual and literary arts. Customizable projects available, including but not limited to: book making, writing portfolios, chapbooks and poetry slams/showcases/performances.
